  • Used Book Sale Starts Next Week in the Library

The Madison Library's Used Book Sale starts next Tuesday, June 14th and will run through Friday. Students can shop for summer reading books throughout the school day in the library and books are just 25 cents apiece. And it's not too late to donate some gently used books to the sale and earn up to 5 free books when the sale starts. Bring those donations to Ms. Bell ASAP. Hope to see you out to pick up some great books that you can add to your home library! **Special Note for SPS Librarians: Books that have been weeded from Madison's library (due to low circulation or condition) must first be offered up to SPS librarians and then the remaining will be added to our end of year sale for students. Please contact Madison Librarian Stacia Bell to take a look at the available weeded inventory.

  • Library Books Due Tuesday, June 14th

It has been a fantastic year of reading at Madison with over 20,000 books checked out this year alone. Sadly, this is our last week of book checkout in our Madison library. Next week, you get to start checking books out from your amazing public library to read over the summer. The final deadline to turn in all books and still get your yearbook on time is next Tuesday, June 14th. Overdue books and other school fines after June 14th will hold students back from being able to purchase a yearbook or pick up a pre-paid yearbook on time. Talk to Ms. Bell or Ms. Penner in the fiscal office if you have questions. Picture Source:

  • Madison Spring Book Fair Coming Soon!

With summer right around the corner, it's the perfect time to stock up on some great summer reads. Luckily, Madison's Spring Book Fair is right around the corner on May 3rd-6th, Tuesday-Friday. Students and families can shop for books during lunch on the stage in the cafeteria and also during Science Night on Wednesday, May 4th. Cash, check (made out to Third Place Books) and credit card will be accepted. A portion of every sale will come back to Madison to help us purchase new books for our library. Ms. Bell will also be making some of the new Bulldogs Read books for next school year available for purchase so that you can get a jump start reading them over the summer. Can't wait to see you out for some summer book browsing and shopping!
